I enjoyed it!
I purchased an older copy of this book at the half-price store and found it to be incredibly useful. I didn't buy it for the ratings - there's no way a print book could keep up with the changing products - but for the suggestions of what to look for in a quality product, what to watch out for, things to think about, and even whether a particular type of product is even worth bothering about. Not impressed at all. If you are the type of person who thoroughly researches things before you buy them, you will probably know just about everything that is in this Consumer Reports book (yes I am a first time mom-to-be).Don't let the first 10 chapters fool you not a single product is actually rated. I was especially disappointed to find that a meager 10 pages in the back of the book were actually dedicated to rating products which is really what you want from Consumer Reports. If you are looking for comprehensive ratings don't buy this book!! The only things rated are: Car Seats, Boosters, travel systems, play yards and soft carriers all in a meager 10 pages so that should give you an idea that this book barely scratches the surface of rating baby products. Don't waste your money
This book was not informative at all.I started to read the reviews after I bought the book just to make sure I was not the only one who was not impressed with the book.I took the suggestion of other readers and bought Baby Bargain.Now this is a wonderful book.I can't put it down, originally when I bought I was planning to just skim though and read what I thought was important but the advice was so good that I had to start reading the book from the beginning to make sure I wasn't missing out on any good tips. ... FORGET the 'Baby' Books This is ALL you need!
My husband bought this as a gift for me.After waiting for years for our first child I needed LOTS of gifts while I was pregnant to prepare the home for his arrival.
Don't be fooled by the cover or the pictures!
This is such a unique book. I just received it from a friend. First I thought how odd to give someone an "Old" book about children. But the information in it is up to date the pictures are just classic children's pictures. TONS of information from baby to child from foods to games to making holidays special. The terrible reviews are completely out of place
Why are these 2 horrible reviews here? This book has nothing to do with USTA, USPTA, ITF, ETA, USPTR, or whatever other tennis acronym you can think of. This book has nothing TO DO WITH TENNIS.
New Game Ideas...
The games "shared" here are not new and if they are they are actually taken most without permission from other authors and professionals.Mr. Dinoffer's book provides coaches with a tool that is sub-par to that of materials offered by the USTA, ITF and ETA.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MATERIAL but recommend you going to the ITF website for updated information and materials.Please note: Any comments preceding mine that strongly give support to this book will likely been written by Mr. Dinoffer and his associates.Certified coaches need to be aware...and BEWARE...

Ordinary Copied Ideas
