Family Night Tool Chest Book
Excellent book for teaching/ learning basic Christian concepts.We have four kids and like yours, they are an energetic crew.This book gave us really cool, really clever ideas on how to teach what otherwise would beboring 'Lessons from Dad and Mom'.We've really had a ball. Family funwithout videos or, dare we say it, TV. Definitely rated 'G' for Grrrreat. I'd recommend this easy to read book to anyone who is interested in makingcertain their kids have the basic knowledge/ experience necessary to builda life centered on the God of the Bible. What a waste of money
I bought this book hoping for some innovative games or activities for my kids. Instead, I found the vast majority of the ideas to be either things that any parent of a 3 year old already knows (let child apply stickers to paper, let child draw outside with chalk, read a book to the child, put your hand in a sock and use it as a puppet, rolling and throwing a ball with the child) or 5-6 line poems that the parent is supposed to memorize and sing with the child. Do not waste your money.

This book can help you keep from turning gray so soon.

Love it!
I use this book for every birthday party I throw. I take their ideas and adapt them to fit my parties. So far all my parties have been a huge success and are often referred to as the parties you don't want to miss!

Great ideas for the younger set
This is a great party book for folks with kids 10 and under. There are some games that can be adapted for older kids as well, but the crafts and themes would not work for most kids over the age of 11. Parent participation is a big part of making these partys work, so be plan your event accordingly. There are ideas here for block partys, olympics, and all kinds of holiday events.

Great for babysitting
I have used this book and the others in the "Child's Play" series for years with lots of preschool and elementary school-aged kids.It is particularly great for babysitters because all the activities can bedone using materials everyone has around the house, so you can justscrounge in the kitchen and office for paper, egg cartons, crayons, andother odds and ends for and end up with really cool finished product.Kidslove it, and the activities are easy to do and easy to clean up after. Plus the illustrations are cute and funny.

I really liked this book!
I spend every Saturday with my 3 nephews. One is 6, the others are two 3-year old twins.This book has saved my life!So many times the kids have been over and I haven't had any idea of how to keep them occupied! A very long-winded advertisement
This book seems to have been written in order to sell the three previous books by Glenn Doman: "How to Teach Your Baby to Read", "How to Teach Your Baby Math", and "How to Give Your Baby Encyclopedic Knowledge". Apparently you have to buy these three books instead of this one. This book is the most verbose ingratiating introduction I have ever read and won't give additional value or new information.
A compilation of three previous books by the author
This book is a compilation of three books by Glenn Doman "How to Teach Your Baby to Read", "How to Teach Your Baby Math" and "How to Give Your Baby Encyclopedic Knowledge". You can buy these three books instead of this one. If you already have these three books, "How to Multiply Your Baby's Intelligence" won't give additional value or new information.

I have a 4 month old daughter and I am excited to get started with Glenn Doman's Math, Reading and Encyclopedic Knowledge. Much more than just games
We just got this book and we are already playing these games all of the time!The design of the book makes each game simple to understand, most of them don't need any special set up or props, and the activities are divided into age groups (2-7, 8-12, 13-15, 16+ and adult) But the book is about much more than fun activities, it is about a whole way of approaching life to find the joy in everyday situation (she includes activities to deal with getting dumped by a teenage boyfriend, on how to make important carrer choices, and on how to avoid the blues, even when they are the result of something very sad).One game I especially like is for ages 2-7, called "young ones" in the book.It is called Grouchy Food.The game is for when your child is grouchy or sad or in some other unplesant mood you say to them "Hmm, you look like you are in a grouchy mood today, I better adjust the lunch menu so you can eat what grouchy people eat.What do grouchy people eat, anyway?Worms, probably." Then you make spagehetti (we added food die until it was brown).The author notes that sad people sometimes need a little blue food coloring in their eggs, "lots of water to drink so they have extra for their tears," and "gental" pudding for dessert. How could any kid stay upset after that?! This is a reeeally fun book for all ages.Lots of fun gags and such.
